We like to think it is a bright, caring and happy one. How is this achieved? Well, we realise that we are a group of people living, caring and working together. Each person, whether a resident, nurse, cook, cleaner or maintenance person brings their personality to our home.

Our Residents
We strive to make our Residents feel welcome, happy and part of our community.

Each person arrives with his or her own set of needs and capabilities. We go to great lengths to find out what they are and organise the help they need. This is one of the reasons why we are so successful in what we do.

It makes sense to know what each person enjoys doing and how we can help them to participate in these activities.

It is equally important that we know about each person’s dislikes, what makes him or her tired, irritable and disappointed. If these are not noticed or respected, it can lead to a lot of unnecessary unhappiness. We always encourage all our Residents to share their thoughts and concerns as these help us to attend to their needs and improve our service.

Our nursing support
We provide a fully accredited High Care service with a secure, dementia-specific area.

We are very experienced in discerning and meeting the intricate nursing needs that elderly people require. Our nurses work very closely with our doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dietitians and other medical, spiritual, cultural and allied services to ensure that each of our resident’s needs are monitored and met as these change over time.
