The Florentine style centre has state of the art facilities with 24 hour nursing care provided by highly trained and caring professional staff. High Care (Nursing Home) and Low Care (Hostel) services are offered – yet, at St James Park you pay the same low Government controlled fees as any other licensed nursing centre.

Accommodation Bonds for low care residents are negotiated individually and sympathetically.

Facilities include 5 large air-conditioned lounges and libraries, 2 air-conditioned dining rooms, state of the art kitchen and 2 kitchenettes, and an elegant central Tea Pavilion.

Rooms are private and 40% larger than regulation, fully carpeted with built in wardrobes, en-suites with hand dryer and heater.

Telephone and TV points are standard. Every room has a door to a balcony with views of the parkland, hinterland or gardens. The air-conditioned St James Park Courtesy Bus is used for outings – free of charge.

The architecture for St James Park Care Centre was inspired by the renowned 15th century Renaissance ‘Hospital of the Innocents’ in Florence, featuring Colonnade fascias, two large Cupolas, and rounded archways and columns.
